Lean on Us

One of the most important values that I hold dear is successful entrepreneurship.  I so badly want to help entrepreneurs who endeavor to be successful, to taste that success.

The primary reason that we've created the seminar and workshop programs that we teach all year long is to advance the cause of successful entrepreneurship. And one of the great benefits that people who participate in our programs get is that we become friends with them.  Our entire team becomes part of their team, and they become part of our team.  One of the great benefits of being friends with us is that we have very wide resources that are available to all of the alumni of our programs.

So it hurts me deeply when I see one of our workshop or seminar alumni having a problem that could have easily been avoided.  All of our alumni know that we're just a phone call away, so that they can go over issues that they're dealing with in their business before the problems escalate into full-scale difficulties.  Unfortunately, there are people who do not call us in advance and wait until disaster strikes before picking up the phone.

When disaster strikes, the options are usually very limited.  Sometimes, it requires the services of an expert.  Sometimes it requires the services of an attorney. Sometimes the entrepreneur has to walk away from the business with nothing - or worse, with a pile of debt.

If I can urge you to do one thing different in the future, it would be to call in advance and ask for help, especially if you become one of our alumni and you get involved with us.  We want to help you and be there for you, so that you're not somebody who finds yourself in a situation where you're calling and asking for help after the fact. We want our alumni to lean on us for help. Asking for help sure beats the alternative.
