Show Me The Money: Helping Filmmakers Raise The Money To Make Their Movies

Last week I made a post about some of the challenges that film makers face today and what can be done about it. Here is a recap of that blog entry…

Filmmakers have two dramatic problems and neither of them are artistic. First, filmmakers have to get the money to make their film. Second, they have to make enough money so that they can pay the original money back. Both of these issues, if left unattended and unplanned for, will take you down the bunny hole faster than you can imagine.

Growth-Logic is a long time advisor and investor to filmmakers and entrepreneurs — helping them to succeed with their projects. Due to enormous demand from filmmakers, we have agreed to sponsor a program to help filmmakers get ready to find the money to make their films. The program will begin in the Fall.

We have developed a unique formula for how this program will be delivered and there will be several ways that filmmakers can get involved. My co-sponsor for this program is Gary Goldstein. Gary was the producer of Pretty Woman (starring Julia Roberts & Richard Gere) and the executive producer of the Under Siege series (starring Steven Seagal), to name just two of his many accomplishments. He has literally driven over a billion dollars to the box office! There aren't many people, including people in Hollywood, who can claim that.

We will be looking for the best packages because we want to personally get them funded.

We aren't taking sign-ups just yet, but if you would like to be one of the first people to know when we announce this limited program, please submit your name and email address in the form on the upper right side of our new film financing blog site:
